Cookie and Local Storage Policy

Your choice

When you first visit, CLIPPER asks you to choose which optional storage categories you allow: Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Customize per category. Rejecting is always as easy as accepting, and nothing optional is ever pre-selected. Your choice is stored as a strictly-necessary consent record (clipper:consent:v1) for 180 days; after that you will be asked again. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

The four categories

• Strictly necessary — always on. The secure session cookie clipper_session after sign-in (HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite=Lax, not readable by page scripts), security storage, and the consent record itself. The service cannot work without these; there is no reject control for them.
• Functional — off unless you allow it. Interface preferences such as sidebar state and dismissed UI hints. When off, these apply for the current visit only and are not saved. The color theme is always saved on this device (a display preference, not tracking), so the site opens the way you left it. Workspace working state you create (drafts, schedules, business selection) is strictly necessary to provide the publishing service and is always stored.
• Analytics — off unless you allow it. Helps us understand how the product is used. CLIPPER uses Cloudflare Web Analytics: cookieless, privacy-friendly measurement that collects no personal data and sets no cookies. The measurement script loads only when you allow this category.
• Marketing — off unless you allow it. Personalized ads and cross-site tracking. Not currently used.

No advertising tracking

CLIPPER currently uses no advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, behavioral profiling pixels, or embedded social widgets. The only measurement is the optional cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics described above, which loads only with your consent. Fonts are served from this domain — no font request leaves your browser for a third party.

Controls

Use Cookie settings in the footer to review or change your choices. You can also sign out to revoke the current session, revoke other sessions from Settings, or clear site storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary storage may make the web app unavailable.
