Privacy Policy
Effective September 22, 2026
This policy explains what CLIPPER CLIP processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to users of the private beta.
Information we process
- Account data: email address, optional display name, authentication provider, session information, and consent timestamps.
- Workspace data: business names, optional logos, preferences, drafts, schedules, publishing status, and audit/security events.
- Connected-platform data: account identifiers, encrypted OAuth credentials, granted permissions, content selected by the user, and analytics returned by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook.
- Technical security data: one-way hashed rate-limit identifiers, limited user-agent information, failure diagnostics, and timestamps. Waitlist data: email address and optional name/business type submitted through the public waitlist form. Waitlist entries are not accounts; they are used only to contact you about availability and launch updates, and you can ask to be removed at any time via tomer66331@gmail.com. CLIPPER does not request a birth date, payment card, address book, precise location, or advertising profile.
Purposes and legal basis
Data is used to provide the requested service, secure accounts, perform authorized publishing actions, meet platform and legal obligations, and respond to support or deletion requests. Optional marketing consent is separate and off by default; CLIPPER currently sends no newsletter.
Storage, recipients, and transfers
Application records and temporary media use Cloudflare infrastructure. Data is sent to Google/YouTube, TikTok, or Meta only when needed for an action or connection the user requests. Those providers process data under their own policies. OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest and are never intentionally displayed.
Google API data
When you connect a YouTube channel, CLIPPER CLIP accesses your YouTube information through Google APIs using only the permissions you grant during sign-in. CLIPPER CLIP's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the publishing, scheduling, and analytics features you request; it is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared except as needed to operate those features or as required by law. You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time from Settings, and you can revoke CLIPPER CLIP's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Retention
Sessions expire or may be revoked. Temporary media expires after the publishing window. Workspace records remain while the account or business is active and are removed through verified deletion workflows, subject to security, legal, and backup-retention needs. Published platform content remains controlled through that platform.
Your choices and rights
Users can disconnect social accounts, revoke other CLIPPER sessions, archive or delete business workspaces, and request account deletion from Settings. Requests for access, correction, portability, objection, restriction, or deletion may also be sent to tomer66331@gmail.com. Identity verification may be required.
Children
CLIPPER is not directed to children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data. Signup requires confirmation that the user is at least 16 or has permission from a parent or legal guardian. If a child’s data was provided without valid permission, contact us for removal.
Security and policy changes
CLIPPER uses HTTPS, scoped authorization, encrypted provider tokens, rate controls, and audit events. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Material changes will be dated and published here.
